Thomas Piketty is one of the world most influential economists. His work on economic inequality is both prolific and enormously revealing. And when aiming to understand why the world is such an unequal place he is, in my view, the 'go to' man so to speak.
At the same time, his work can be very dense. So, in order to get a stronger grasp of his underlying theories and conceptual frames I have decided to succinctly explain to myself what he is precisely saying. And hopefully others will get something out of my analysis. Here goes...
